Heart month might be ending but this week’s strategy is all about keeping that muscle strong and pumping for you; it’s about exercising.

Do you realize how hard your heart works for you every single day? It beats about 100,000 times a day. With each beat, it pumps and helps circulate blood through your system. Your blood needs to keep moving in order to deliver the oxygen & the nutrients your body needs.

When you move your body at a moderate-intensity , regularly, that means a few times a week, not just during the weekend or at the beginning of the year you enable your heart to pump more efficiently.

  • Do go overboard
  • Start small
  • Find something you like, that you have fun doing

Please, always make sure it’s okay with your primary physician before starting a new exercise routine and build up gradually.
